Boudoir shoot with Robyn

Robyn is marrying James in a church service next month and I shot their pre-wedding images in London a couple of months ago. Robyn contacted me a few weeks ago requesting a boudoir shoot so she could surprise James on their wedding day with a present of one of her images on canvas. The shoot took place last Friday and here are some of Robyn’s beautiful pictures.

You don’t need to be getting married to want a boudoir shoot - many women just want to do it for themselves or to surprise their boyfriends. Whatever the reason, if a boudoir shoot is something you would like to book or add to your wedding package if I’m already shooting your big day, please contact me. What a present it makes!

Lynsey and Mike

I mentioned a few posts ago about a wedding which featured a bride who was a little shy about having her images on here - well, I’m very pleased to say that Mike says I’ve cured Lynsey of it and how very comfortable she was in front of my camera. I’m pleased to show some images of their wedding from May, which took place in the stunning Fanhams Hall Hotel In Ware, Hertfordshire. It was (as usual!) a scorcher of a day and the large landscaped grounds of the hotel, including a Japanese house and garden became the backdrops to some images of the stunning Lynsey and her new hubby, Mike. Please enjoy…

Kay and Andrew

Kay and Andrew got married a week ago on yet another blazing sunny day. It was a Greek/English fusion, so it was lively to say the least! They tied the knot inside the beautiful setting of the chapel of Whitelands College which itself is part of Roehampton University in London.

I think it’s fantastic that after years of only having a choice of church or registry office, couples now have such a huge array of locations they can choose in which to get married - I am in the enjoyable position this year of shooting weddings in some really exciting locations including barns, country house hotels and even farms as well as the more traditional churches. It really keeps the creative juices flowing from a photographic point of view!

Louise and Richard

Things have been very busy for the past week or so - so much so that I’ve had no time to post here. Along with weddings at either end of the week, another reason for that is the pre-wedding shoot I did with Louise and Richard in Waltham Abbey, who are tying the knot in September.  They wanted some shots to include their surroundings, so we wandered around the town and found loads of interesting places to shoot.

Hannah and Martin

Hannah is a friend of mine and I’ve known her for many years. She was a bridesmaid at Kavita and David’s wedding in May (which I shot) and it was because of a recommendation from Hannah that I was booked for the wedding in the first place as Kavita and David’s photographer had let them down last minute. Because of this, I promised Hannah and her boyfriend Martin that I would do a complimentary pre-wedding shoot with them (although they’re not getting married…….yet) as a way of saying thank you.

So, yesterday evening we met up in London and got some great shots in a very tight timeframe of 60 minutes as they were heading off to see the musical ‘Wicked’ in the West End. Some of their images are here.

Andrew and Ian

I will have the pleasure of assisting my friend David at a civil partnership in July (my first) and we got together yesterday for a pre-wedding shoot with Andrew and Ian in Rye, Sussex. I’m looking forward to the ceremony, as they have booked an open-platform Routemaster bus to ferry them and their guests from the registry office to a Thames cruiser where they will be partying the night away!

It was a blazing hot day and I got home early evening to find I had a touch of sunburn - OUCH! I won’t get caught like that again…pass the sunblock!
