Portrait photoshoot with Kim Hawkins and David McNeil

David and I are both wedding photographers and friends - we met a couple of years ago on a course and we share a very similar style and outlook in photography. We have since worked together many times on each other’s weddings when we’re available (in fact, we flew to Sorrento in Italy last Friday to cover a beautiful wedding in the rustic town of Positano - more of that, with images, later this week).

We both wanted some more headshots of ourselves and it seemed daft to get anyone else to do it, so we met a week ago to capture some shots in Southwark in London. We made for a railway bridge where the natural light was great and gave us images that looked like we were using off-camera flash. David is a real poser natural in front of the camera - unlike me - I hate having my picture taken but I must admit, if I wanted shots done of me again it would be David I would ask as he achieved the impossible - images of me I actually love! Anyway, here are some images of the two of us - pretty obviously, the images of David were taken by me and the ones of me were taken by David!
